Before Top Gear became the Temple of Hoon, offering parishioners access to exotic locales like Monaco, Nice, and Vietnam in rides ranging from super-cars to mopeds, it's hosts were stuck in more mundane rides. Particularly Richard Hammond, who seemed to have access to a veritable treasure trove of Korean metal at the start of the millennium.

"8.2 seconds... quick."

The Hamster seemed to enjoy the Tiburon, or Hyundai Coupe as it was known there, and even recommended it over an SC430 once on Top Gear. Although that's not really a glowing recommendation if you consider what the SC430 was.

Here we can see Richard testing out the new for the time Santa Fe, also known as the most bulbous SUV in recent memory. Although if you asked him he called it, "muscular," and seemed to be quite enamored with it's looks.

With a shirt to match, Richard takes his goatee..err.. the Kia Rio out for a spin. Does this cheap and cheerful little hatch impress? You'll have to watch to find out.
